EL-SHADDAI CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PROFILE

Mission

To produce exceptional results through a process of creating an excellent culture of teaching and learning through maximum utilisation of all available resources within the framework of proper time management skills. The School is entirely committed to education standards that are life skills oriented for equipping learners with a Christian character to the satisfactory expectations of the needs of the parents in our community.

The School is situated on the boarders of Bophelong and the low-income suburb (CW 5) of Vanderbijlpark. Both these communities are equally the same class. On the western boarder of the School there are make make-shift-developments of houses and shacks known as Muvhango.

Vision

To be an external and internal class educational institution capable of providing continous education to satisfy all aspects of life (physically, mentally and spiritually) and to achieve the economic development and empowerment of our people locally as well as nationally.

Management and Finance

The School has a nine - member management team consisting of the director, the principal, two deputies and five HOD's. There is also a school governing body consisting of parents and some staff members.

The School has a well-kept record of finances, which is audited every year. The financial statements are submitted to the Welfare Department and to all other stakeholders and are made available to any other person.

Commitment

The School is committed to the improvement of the learners performance and more emphasis on learning problems and psychosomatic problems due to some stressful family backgrounds. These problems end up affecting the whole personality of the child if they remain unattended. We have remedial classes and have a regular counseling service for those learners with problems, which largely emanate from family background.
